Money Mines is a 5 reel slot with 20 paylines developed by Buck Stakes Entertainment and released by Microgaming. It comes with an RTP of 96.2%, high volatility and a maximum win of 2000x your bet.

Now given the fact that this is a Microgaming release most of you reading this review will likely be aware that this means that the RTP is variable and that an online casino operator can select a lower RTP setting than the one we have stated.

So if you take into account the fact that the maximum win is rather low for a high variance slot machine and the variable RTP it is clear that for the first slot that we have reviewed by this developer that the numbers really are not that attractive (at least for real money play).

What is attractive is the theme, its not the first (in fact we have seen many) dwarven themed mining slot but whoever the designers are they have done a great job of it and this slot makes you want to play it.

Unfortunately the gameplay is relatively standard with the best feature being the free spins round so for us at demo slots fun there just isn’t enough here to justify playing Money Mines for real money.

However we do recommend at least giving the demo a few spins as it is a rather beautifully designed slot and it is quite fun to play despite the lack of originality.
