That however is the only bit of bad news that we have in store for you when it comes to Book of Sam. We start with the theme which is an Egyptian slot but in Vegas so in essence it reminds of us the classic Egyptian style slots that you can find in Vegas and elsewhere.

Personally we really like the look and feel although we were interested in how Elk Studios was going to make a book type slot that actually manages to stand out in a positive way from the multitude of slots with similar mechanics that have already been released.

Turns out that they really have done their best and having played the demo ourselves we can only conclude that they have actually succeeded in making a fun and novel book slot that we really enjoyed playing.

The Electric Treat feature is definitely a nice addition and depending on the character that triggers it has a different effect. That alone is enough to make the base game better but with there also being respins and a free spins round this really is a rather engaging slot machine that we feel many will enjoy.

It is just a shame that the RTP is on the low side but then again the maximum win amount really is quite good.
