Night Trax Slot Review

Night Trax is a 5 reel video slot with 72 paylines. It comes with an RTP of 95%, medium volatility and a maximum win of 1000x your bet.

We have two instant observations after we received the above numbers from Elk Studios, the first one is that the RTP for Night Trax is definitely on the low side with 95% really being pretty unacceptable. However it is also a fact that this is a medium volatility slot machine with a maximum win of 10000x your bet so there is that.

That last is not something you see every day either but we will have to play Night Trax a lot more before deciding if the low RTP is compensated enough by the medium volatility and high winning potential.

Those things aside let’s take a look what Elk Studios have set out to do with Night Trax. The theme is pretty well executed and finished to the usual high standard set by Elk Studios.  The fact that all the symbols on the reels are arrows takes a bit of getting used to and gives this slot a bit of a retro look and feel, this is further enhanced by the choice of sound track and effects that are used.

The main feature during the base game is the respin which comes into play whenever there is a winning combination, if more symbols land that add to the win the respin continues until you fill up all the reels. In addition there is a bonus game (also a super bonus one) which might sounds exciting at first but they are both nothing more than a glorified hold and win.

Really not that exciting to be honest and a bit of a letdown. Sure this slot looks and sounds the part and it does have very good winning potential (especially for a medium volatility slot) but we got bored with Night Trax rather quickly.
